Heya guys,

First of all! This is probably the most welcomed develop application for Joomla! Welldone, you have done a superb job so far!

The question.
I have developed a nice catalogue layout for a computer listing. It looks nice but I would like to display all the items from a certain category. How would I achieve looping the content for a certain category?

Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Regards

If I'm understanding you right, just make a menu item to a Flexicontent category...

Or do you want to display all the items from the category alongside an item? You'd need a module for that. You might try the Placehere module, but if you care much about SEO I'd wait for Emmanuel to finish the Flexicontent module he's working on.

Thanks for your reply unleash. No I think you misunderstood, I probably did not explain it too well.

I dont want to display only a single article entry per page but all of them. You can only link a single article per menu item, but the content per item is too little for one page I would like to display them below each other. Like you would with the normal Joomla content manager. 5 articles on one page for instance.

Heya guys, ok this is how I got it working.

I took the default category_items.php and modified it to show all the content I wanted, this repeats for all my articles.

So now I can view multiple articles on one page.

Regards.

No need to do that. Just link to a Flexicontent category... it acts the same as a Joomla category blog link, trust me.

The only difference is the parameters (like columns, read more links, etc.) are located in the category instead of the menu item. Maybe you had it set to show only 1 article??
