Creating new category

Hi for all.
Using joomla 1.5.23 with flexicontent 1.5.6 and flexiaccess when I click to create a new category the system takes longer than 15 seconds to respond.
Is there any way to reduce that time?
Does the number of categories created may influence?

This is strange, i see no reason for this. When you open the categories management tab in the backend how much time does it take?

The number of categories cannot effect the time need to create the page, maybe if you had 10000 categories.

When I open the category manager is fast, 2 or 3 seconds, but if I click to create a new category, it takes over 15 seconds.
The same happens when you open the template manager, more than 15 seconds. To make changes in a template, others 20 seconds: open, change, save.

did you try without flexiaccess ?

at first do a save with akeeba
install a new version and unstall flexiaccess
but i think if you uninstall flexiaccess you did lose configuration
