Blank category page

I seem to be having the same problem as in this post: www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic

I've got 14 items published and working in a category but when I publish the 15th item the main category page goes completely blank.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.23 with Flexicontent 1.5.4 stable (r558).

Can anyone suggest how I go about fixing this?

OK, I may have sorted this...

This is what I've done. There was a suggestion in the other thread that I linked to that it was related to memory.

So, at first I upoaded a php.ini file to the root of the Joomla installation, saying this:
memory_limit=16M
I believe the default memory limit on our server is 8, so doubling it seemed like a sensible start. However, that didn't make a difference, so I changed it to 32:
memory_limit=32M

And lo and behold I have now been able to successfully publish the remaining three items to the site. No more blank category page. For the moment at least.

I don't know enough to confidently say that this has completely solved the problem, but I do at least have a working site again.

A new version is comming with a good d'Orléans on category page

The new upcoming v1.5.6 will:

a. use less memory for category view
b. and also be a lot faster (for category view)

But yes your memory limit was a little low

If you need to install now (no support for now)
you can extract from SVN ():

1. Install tortoisesvn from here:
tortoisesvn.net/downloads.html

2. Check out (download) the new Flexicontent files

3. Install antrunner from here
visualdrugs.net/antrunner/
and create a zip install file:

Please note that v1.5.6 is not supported yet, despite having a lot less bugs than 1.5.4/1.5.5
It is only for testing ...
