hello
actualy not date ...
sorry i don't understand the other question ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

How does flexicontent associate the translation(s) with the original entry?
What makes two articles (one tagged in English and one tagged in French) to be linked together?

Merci, if needed I can express my question in french as well to be clearer.

Hi,

I'm also facing the problem of translating flexicontent items.
I'm using joomla 1.5.23 and flexicontent 1.5.5 stable (r607).

I even tried on a clean install, use the info from www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq/i...oomfish-support.html and the problem is the same as follow:
When i select an item, i can use the joomfish direct translate to add the translation, but i can not translate the custom fields i created and using on my template. I can only translate the title and main description.

And if i use the flexicontent "copy" function and select the other language to make the translation. It does not display the translated version on the front end when switching between language. The menu items are changing but not the content.

So i am very confused on how to use the translation mechanism.
Some light would be much appreciated.

Thanks
