Hi all,

I've been searching for a solution, but seem to have hit a wall: How do you create a menu item that shows the contents of multiple categories in blog view?

A typical blog homepage shows items chronologically, regardless of category. In Joomla I would use the Section Blog Layout option to achieve this effect. In FLEXIcontent it's easy to link to individual categories, but how do I show the contents of a parent category AND all the sub-categories?

hello in your menu parameter you can select to display subcategorie (on right panel)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Thanks for the tip micker. It turns out it's not in the menu settings but in the category settings. But just knowing the functionality was supposed to be there, I re-checked all my options and found it: FLEXIcontent > Categories > [Your Category] > Parameters: layout common > Display subcategories items.
