How can I hide certain users from Author dropdown?

I've added a field to my jos_users table that flags certain users who should not appear in the author dropdown.

Where in FlexiContent should I add a WHERE clause to prevent these users from appearing in the article author dropdown when creating/editting an article?

What I need to do is filter the users who appear in the core field Create By that appears on the Edit Item page, under the Details tab on right where I see Access Level, and below it a list of Authors.

I want to modify the code for the Authors dropdown to add a filter to hide authors where my jos_users table field NotFlexiAuthor = 1

sorry but my dev level is to bad for this ... :lol:
