Only in internet explorer.
A category view of any number of item boxes, each with header and intro text only.
Issue: the category section gets a content slider or scroll bar (like scrolling down a web page) on the right, but its maxed and doesn't move.
Can you advised how i can get IE not to show the scroll bar for the categories item list section. Its as if this section needs to be set to 100% height to stop the slider from appearing.
this sound like the effect of CSS
without access to the actual page it is almost impossible to answer

with "slider" , i think that you mean (vertical) "scrollbar"
i have visit the page and enabled emulation IE 8, IE9, IE1, IE11
i do not see the scrollbar
