Hello

to support this, should be a small change

but why a single column for title and category ?

Hello,

For example:
I have field cle-import, with for example cle-import = " titre1-34"
In the website , I have fields "title" ;"description" ;"catid" ; .... ;"cle import" with for example
titre1 ; description ; 34 ; ... ; titre1-34

In my csv, I have also "title" ;"description" ;"catid" ; .... ;"cle import"
When I import csv I see if cle-import exist in website (I have unique title by category )
for example:
  • if titre1-34 not exist , item is created
  • if titre1-34 exist , item is updated

I hope to have been clear

Hello

i am little confused

I have field cle-import, with for example cle-import = " titre1-34"

-- you mean you would want to identify and update an existing FLEXIcontent item (Joomla article)
by using field "cle-import" as unique identification ???

i was suggesting to add identification (during import in update-mode) of FLEXIcontent item (Joomla article) ,
by using columns:
title , catid

Yes I would like to do this with native import flexicontent. But I don't know how to do this because I see only update with test on item id ?

Hello

Yes , we could identify an item via a field that has unique value,
- but it would be user responcibilty that field is unique
- we can of course print warning if duplicate value exists and refuse to update multiple items
... or allow updating multiple items as a feature to change value massively

Yes I would like to do this with native import flexicontent. But I don't know how to do this because I see only update with test on item id ?

Exactly, i meant to add possibilty to update by finding item via title, now such an option does not exist
