the parameter will have no effect in FLEXIcontent category view
... because the URLs are already FLEXIcontent item URLs

it has an effect
- in Joomla category view / smart search view / etc
which creates Joomla article URLs
these URLs will not be redirected to FLEXIContent item view

- also FLEXIcontent search view will (should) create Joomla article URLs (and will not create FLEXIcontent item URLs)

You test if the above works as designed and also suggest some improvement (explaing the need or benefit)

You can not just explain how to activate the option in the flexisystem plugin, because it was functional !

I just want to get on the right page of a flexicontent article, via a third-party module, like a search, or a portfolio, etc ... it seems basic and normal as request ... that flexicontent can really be in Relationship with joomla and other components, not completely independent ...
