Hi,
I just installed the extension and did binding to the articles. When I try to preview the item (either from the frontend or from the backend editor) the content of the article is not showed, so it looks like an empty article, although there is content in the editor.
do I need to configure something? any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Hello

please go to FLEXIcontent templates manager
and click on "item layout" of template "default"

then drag and drop fields (e.g. description field) into positions
-- and then save

in v2.2.1 we will have again fields into positions by default, this is an issue in v2.2.0, normally these should be preconfigured

yes, that solved it - thanks!
may I squeeze here another non-related question:
is it possible to make the article look different for registered users compared to guests?

without coding not i think
you can use acl on field if you want to diplay hide specific field by level access

Hello

yes you can:

you can use acl on field if you want to diplay hide specific field by level access

-- if you use extra fields
e.g. text, textarea, select etc fields

1. In field configuration: you should SET the access level of some fields to registered

2. In field configuration: you may want to set a message to be displayed to users without access (e.g. guests) , if you don't set message then fields will be silently hidden

3. In templates manager: (item layout of the content type, yes every content type can have a different template) add fields to positions

4. view item in frontend
