Hello

yes it works bu heritage of custom field was added later
son in v2.1.3 r1857, this will not work:

Custom Field ordering in Component parameters will not be inherited by category that have set ordering to "Use Global"

here is a download link of v2.2.0 BETA that has this fixed:
