You mean replace file an existing file, since deleting a file is no solution because it is already used by items, and having to delete it from items is cumbersome?

Current revision is r1633, also there is no public download package yet,
only developers or experienced users can extract directly from out Google SVN repository to test latest build, but it needs more testing
