Fatal Error When Trying To Open Filemanager

Hi, I'm getting this error when I try to open Files in Flexicontent :o :

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/wnt/public_html/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/filemanager.php on line 185

I'm getting the same error on a test installation of the earlier versions of Flexicontent and Flexiaccess.

I see that an attempt was made to fix this for the new release, but I'm still getting it, and now I wonder if it's my server configuration, or something:

code.google.com/p/flexicontent/i ... l?id=43#c0

However, I'm still getting an error message with the new versions.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on this. It may be related to another issue I have trying to post content from the front and figure out where edit icons show on stories.

Cheers, Francis Goodwin

Sorry Francis but I was not able to reproduce your issue.
1° Does the error occurs on frontend, on backend or both?
2° Does it affect the filemanger itself or the fileselement (files field on the item view)?
3° Could you verify if you have this directory in frontend components/com_flexicontent/controllers
4° Can you give me a super admin access on your website (through PM) so that I can have a look?

Cheers,
Emmanuel.

PS: Concerning the edit button on frontend, if you created your own templates you have to edit the item.php in each template directory to add the following line:
Code:
<?php echo flexicontent_html::editbutton( $this->item, $this->params ); ?>

Dear Emmanuel, Thank you for your rapid attention to this matter. I resolved most of my issues by following, step-by-step, your instructions for activating the FlexiContent and FlexiAccess plugins.

flexicontent.org/documentation/f ... ation.html

However, I am still unable to post content from the front end. I am able to call up an editor now, and also I am able to edit stories from the front after clicking on the edit icon in item view. However, any changes I make to a story do not take effect.

I will provide superadmin access. Thanks again, and Cheers, Francis

Everything is all right now, it was a js conflict with GTranslate module.
Cheers,
Emmanuel.
