Custom field scope for universal content module correct configuration

I am probably not doing this right, but I am trying to show only items with a certain word in their title. In the Universal Content module, I have the Custom field scope set to Include:

6##American

So that if American is in the name, the item title (which is field # 6), it is shown in the list.

However, it will not work for me. What am I doing wrong? I have no other filters on in the module.

Hello

in field filtering TAB, at "category-based views"
- check that filter is display matches e.g. your field must not have filter display "range", instead try to set it to "select drop down"

also you may have to mark the filter to be "filterable"

Hi,
Thank you ggppdk for your help. I've checked the options that you said I need to configure inside the Universal content module but it seems that it is not there. Could you please guide us where these configurations are located? Thank you
