I have now installed the flexicontent and purchased and installed the flexiacces.

I appears from this site, that exactly this combination should make it possible to publish articles from the frontend.

I just can't find a way to do this.

How can one publish from the front-end?

Regards, Morten

Hi and thanks for your support,
FLEXIcontent only allow to submit articles from the frontend (no extra-fields and no editing)

May I ask where did you read that? ;)
Editing and advanced frontend publishing features comes with the 1.6 beta version which has been delayed for personal problems.
Cheers,
Emmanuel.

How do I submit from frontend?

I know that I can do it using the normal Joomla front-end submission. But as you mention above it sounds like flexicontent have a front-end interface too?

Yes it has, since the 1.5.1.
You just need to create a menu item type FLEXIcontent > Item submission form
[img

Click for full size - Uploaded with plasq's Skitch

Avoid using the standard joomla submit form for three reasons:
* as flexicontent extends the core the submitted articles won't be bound to their extended data
* You cannot add tags, categories won't be nested and no multimapping.
* FLEXIaccess rights won't apply on standard submit.

Emmanuel.

Only problem is: I don't have that Menu item. On the single item I only have single item menu item and NOT the "Item submission form".
