How to not display all items/categories for certain groups

Hello,

Please check following situation:

Store editors can access backend area to add/edit items/categories for Corporate Stores team.

The problem is that they see a list of all items/categories from our intranet; i think they should see only Corporate Stores items/categories and hide other info.

why i'm asking: it's hard for users to navigate through all categories (287 categories) and select desired ones. I should say that some items should be visible only for certain users (i know, they see only title but for me it's better to hide any reference)

"View all categories" option is disabled for this group, see attached image

Try to make top categories stores and intranet, and set permissions to view only the stores category for store users.

I aldready did it and work fine for items but not for categories. See image below: when user access flexicontent component, he can see a list of all categories.

the group to whom this user belong doesn't have other nested groups assigned

Exact, I chose not to apply the category restriction on the filter. Probably in a future version I'll add a parameter to choose if you wish to filter this list or not
