view items in category list but deny access to full version

Flexiaccess is fairly easy to understand and with no doubt very powerful.
However, i can't seem to find a way to display items in a category list and then redirect the user to a registration form when an item is clicked on to access the details.
As far as i can tell, there's an option to toggle the visibility of items in a category list. One either conceals or shows the item.
That's not what i am running after.
I would want guests to see the items list and then taken to reg form (or another URL) when clicking on the item title.

This may require some custom rule, i guess.
I could probably achieve it though specific rules for each item, but that's not too operative,

Perhpas there should be an "Access" column in the "Permissions management" panel of the "Frontend & content" tab.

Suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi and thanks for your support,
It's quite simple and it happens in FLEXIcontent's configuration.

By the way, FLEXIaccess is auto-integrated with AEC and adds the Micro Integration automatically.
Just edit your language file:
Code:
components/com_acctexp/micro_integration/lang/your_language.php
and add this add the end of the file
Code:
// FLEXIaccess define( '_AEC_MI_NAME_FLEXIACCESS', 'FLEXIaccess' ); define( '_AEC_MI_DESC_FLEXIACCESS', 'Set FLEXIaccess groups on application or expiration of a plan' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_ENROLL_GROUP_NAME', 'Add to Group' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_ENROLL_GROUP_DESC', 'Set to yes, and pick groups below to enroll the user in on application of plan? (Multiple select allowed)' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_ENROLL_GROUP_NAME', 'FLEXIaccess Group' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_ENROLL_GROUP_DESC', 'Select a plan to enroll the user in on application of plan:' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_REMOVE_GROUP_NAME', 'Remove Groups' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_REMOVE_GROUP_DESC', 'Set to yes, to delete all groups for this user before the groups below are applied, otherwise these groups will be added to existing groups.' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_ENROLL_GROUP_EXP_NAME', 'Add to Group Exp' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_ENROLL_GROUP_EXP_DESC', 'Set to yes, and pick groups below to enroll the user in on expiration of plan? (Multiple select allowed)' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_ENROLL_GROUP_EXP_NAME', 'FLEXIaccess Group Exp' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_ENROLL_GROUP_EXP_DESC', 'Select a plan to enroll the user in on expiration of plan:' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_REMOVE_GROUP_EXP_NAME', 'Remove Groups Exp' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_SET_REMOVE_GROUP_EXP_DESC', 'Set to yes, to delete all groups for this user before the groups below are applied, otherwise these groups will be added to existing groups.' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_REBUILD_NAME', 'Rebuild' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_REBUILD_DESC', 'Select YES to rebuild the groups relations after saving this' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_REMOVE_NAME', 'Remove: ' ); define( '_MI_MI_FLEXIACCESS_REMOVE_DESC', 'Carry out the expiration action for all users with an active plan attached to this micro-integration' );

Emmanuel.

BUT, the question was: How do you SHOW the item in category-view but limit it in items view?

Right now you can only either show it or not show it, and goes for both the category end item view. Am I right?

Is there a solution for that?

Thanks.

I think I have the answer:

Go to your content item you don't want to show and lock the public view and unlock the member view.

You will still see the intro in the blog layout but not the article itself.

For me it is OK like that.

Yes, it works if I manually set the limitation for each article/item. But when I have thousands of members publishing items and I wan't these to be visible in category-view but not in items-view, this solution will be impossible.

I need an automated way to set this op.

Te check-box to show un-authorized links do not work in this case.
