Has anybody found a solution for the Problem that under Yootheme menus the "hide Item" Function from Flexiaccess doesn't work?

I found these old forum Topic
<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href=" www.flexicontent.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=1757 ">viewtopic.php?f=58&t=1757
but these solutions doesn't work for the younger yoothemes since middle of last year, because the structure changed totally.

Or did anybody has an other way to gave different usergroups access to the function "create new item" in frontend without usage of menupoint.
I only know the function over a special menu-Item.
But in my usecase with yootheme template these doesn't work, because i could not hide these menupoint :-(

best regards,
Thomas

hello did you ask some question to yooteam ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I get no real answer, because they ask me to clarify these with flexicontent ;-)

I don't think that it work with yootheme menustructure.

So my question was more if anybody found an other way to solve such problem?

best regards,
Thomas

Only as info for users wich have similar problems.
I handle it know with an special Navigation point wich i assigned one of the standard Joomla Templates. There i create a new menu only shown under these navipoint, wich was also assigned to standard template. In that menu i place menupoints for different Usergroups to create content in theyr special categories.

And in Standard-Template i made the changes micker describes in last posting, to hide menuPoints over FlexiAccess.
Not perfect, but it works for my usecase :-)

best regards,
Thomas
