I believe, before end of August ... Flexicontent 2.0 for J1.6/J1.7. The new beta (completed a couple dates ago) is workable now, but has bugs and less features than 1.5.6 for J1.5. It needs to be debugged and come up-to-date with 1.5.6 Features ...

Version 1.5.6. for J1.5 much earlier, the beta is for 1.5.6 is very stable and with very few bugs (and a lot) compared to 1.5.4 and 1.5.5r607 ... but because still adding features so one or two new bugs maybe introduced ...

Regards

i meant with beta the Flexicontent 2.0 beta not joomla beta version.
I mean

I will use the current flexicontent 2.0 beta with the latest joomla version which is now 1.7!
or should i use joomla 1.6?

Use with 1.7, there is no download package for latest beta, you can download for the SVN only. The reason is than only advanced users that know how to do get it from SVN and make install package could install it...
