Problem with AidaNews and FlexiContent urls [SOLVED]

Hi,

I'm using AidaNews 2.0 beta2 with FlexiContent 1.5.6 beta (r836).

Instead of AidaNews showing links like this:
../component/flexicontent/22-some-category/95-some-item

I would need them to be like this:
../22-some-category/95-some-item

I have selected FlexiUrls in AidaNews setup and modules/mod_aidanews/tmpl/default.php has this code in line 1080:
Code:
//Building links if ($params->get('URLtype') == '2') { $link = JRoute::_(FlexicontentHelperRoute::getItemRoute($row->slug, $row->catslug, $row->sectionid)); }

Do I need to modify the code someway or is there any way to fix those urls?

I have set some modules to be shown on certain menu items and those modules won't show if I can't get rid of that /component/flexicontent part in the url.

The: component/flexicontent
inside the url appears because no menu itemid is appended to the URL

The newer version of Flexicontent (v.1.5.6) has a new option to append an default menu ItemID to the URL.

But you can use "Advanced Module Manager" to do anything you want with module appearance. Plus it has support for flexicontent !!!

If you want you can try to use the new files from v1.5.6, try this and report back (backup replaced files):

I tried the "Advanced Module Managed" and it perfectly solved my problem.

Thanks!

Great, Advanced Module Manager makes displaying modules very easy ... and solves a lot of headaches with module appearance, only take care to configure properly ...
