Hi guys

I've seen that this topic has been discussed few times, but no answer has been give.

I need to enable Disqus commenting system on Flexi.

I can use either RokComment or JA Comment pulgins, they both give the {code} which I can call through flexi field.

Unfortunately, they dont seem to work with Flexi.

Does anyone know what needs to be done to enable it, where is the problem? We are competent with php so dont need hand holding, just a direction.

Thank you!

There is no plugin, but you can edit the template files to add Disqus. Disqus gives you universal codes, so you can add to anything; It's basically copy and paste. They also gives you code to add a counter comment. I think I wrote a tutorial for how to do this with K2 in their forum, it's basically the same thing.

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I realize this message is old - but you can install the universal disqus code in your site.

The code API is here:
docs.disqus.com/developers/universal/

Just paste the code, insert your short code, and install it at the bottom of your template files (item.php/category.php)....

If you are running on a localhost:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> var disqus_developer = 1; // this would set it to developer mode </script>

Put it in the <head></head> of the document and that will allow you to test...

Under templates/blog i added disqus code to item.php and category.php Category works fine but problem with items.

Do i have to add the code somewhere else? I added to item_html5.php but again it didnt work.
