block-specific css classes

The divs contained within each template block should have a css class added that is specific to the block.

So in:
Code:
<!-- BOF above-description-line1 block -->

we should have:
Code:
<div class="lineinfo line1 above-description-line1">

Currently there's no easy way to isolate the blocks with css.

you can duplicate the base template in order to modifi and created your css id !

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I know, and have done that.

I'm just suggesting that the default templates that ship with flexicontent should include block-specific css classes.

Presumably the whole point of having these content blocks is so you can handle each of the blocks differently. But currently the class styles assigned are pretty much the same for all blocks.

@lcdservices

This sounds like a good idea.
Do you have a patch and/or some files you can share?

As long as it allows the current single CSS class method to function the same as it does,
it should not be an issue.

I've only modified one of the template files to meet my immediate needs. But you get the idea. See attached.

(remove the .zip extension, it's a php file)
