Restrict creation to maximum of 1 item per type

Hi,

Is there a way to allow creation of maximum 1 item per type?

I do have multiple types but for some of them I need to restrict maximum number of items to 1 (one).

- what you ask has been discussed and is planned during upcoming months,

- actually a global limit in Content Type is not too much work to implement (just not available now), but we also want to add this per user-group too

the idea is to do it this according to usergroup,

doing this according to type configuration is really simpler
- simpler, because we already have relevant mechanism in place that checks the creation of item according to ACL in type ...

maybe we can combine, set a default limit type configuration and any not otherwise privileged user is subject to it
