I have created 2 Image Custom fields and Added both to the same Type of content.

We have set both to open as a MODAL, the problem is that they are not connected so the modal does not show the NEXT and PREVIEW flags.

Woulld be greate to have the oping in the image field to specify the galleryname so we can link diferent images in the same modal gallery.

Maybe for now you could use a text field and foreach item set a folder to it, put your images in these folders and then in field configuration set it to run any gallery plugin.

Also maybe you could duplicate the text field and alter it to create the foldernames automatically , using the item id, so that the use cannot alter it.

Then also duplicate text plugin and that also creates the same foldername automatically and set it to run a folder manager plugin ...

I have done it like this.

1 - Open the Flexi Image Field Plugin .php
2 - Where it says rokbox[200 400]
3 - Change it to rokbox[200 400](galeriesconnected)
4 - Test it :D

How simple is that. Like this, even if you filter the images from FC will always be detected as a gallery.

Works for me. :D

Thanks for sharing , i did not know, that multibox supports this. I have seen it in other popup image libraries.

Also your comment gives me an idea ...

I say that i have an idea because, i imagine you would want something more flexible that has these 2 properties:

-- variable number of images (now you have a fixed number e.g. 3 images with 3 image fields)
-- reordering of the images, now your fields are placed in the template position in a fixed order

so i have an idea (actually i had this before but your comment gave me some leads), but don't expect it very soon ...
