[SOLVED] FILE field ignores "Viewing Access Level" was created by hede

- File uploaded via FC backend
- set the "Access level" to Special or registered
- everybody (even non logged in users) can download that file

FF on Win10, FLEXIcontent version 3.0.10 on Joomla 3.4

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I submitted the issue twice at code.google.com but it doesn't show up in the list and Im already pissed off with googles useless user interfaces. Please submit the issue for me:

Summery: FILE field ignores "Viewing Access Level"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. file uploaded via FC backend
2. set the "Access level" to Special or registered

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Only users of the specified group should be able to download that file. But everybody (even non logged in users) can download that file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0 r1264

This was never implemented,

but it was only a few lines of code, so it was added in r1271
