[fixed r1110] Can't add new authors...

Hi,

I am probably doing something wrong. But ever since uploading to FLEXIcontent version 1.5.6 RC2a (r1057) - I can't add new users.

When I click "new author" - the password boxes are greyed out. If I click edit author > new - I get to enter the details but get the following error message:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined method JDatabaseMySQLi::getErrorMssg() in ../administrator/components/com_flexicontent/tables/flexicontent_authors_ext.php on line 59"..

I am getting closer. It is related to flexiaccess.

A fresh install of flexicontent - I can add authors. As soon as I install flexiaccess (com_flexiaccess_1-0-5a) - it stops me from adding authors.

If I remove flexiaccess - I still can't add authors. Perplexing.

I have tested, creating a new author via the authors tabs is broken, i have opened an issue to fix for v1.5.6 RC3(final):

Workaround: First create user via joomla user manager and then edit in the author managers tab

Thanks for your help. I have another site when I try to create new user through the default Joomla User.

I get the following error:

"403 - An error has occurred."

Is there something I missed? Or I need to change?

mm i created user in the backend via joomla user manager where do yo get this 403 error?

About the problem with disabled password fields it only occurs when creating new author via the button in the FLEXIcontent dashboard. I reproduced this locally so i will fix along with other bug related to creating author (that i mentioned in my previous post)
