Author Alias not working

Hello, the Author alias is not saving in the database.
Could you test and confirm this bug?

1 - Create an article
2 - Change the autor alias exemplae: Autor1
3 - Assign to a category and in the front end refresh
4 - Is appaears the user username name instead of the ALIAS
5 - We notice that it is not saving in the db.

I am confused a little with the terminology or i am missing something.

Where do you have the term "author alias" ?
You mean title alias

also about 3, you mean create a menu item that points to an FC category?

What is not saved in the db?

On the right sidebar when editing an article.

You mean that the categories selected for an item are not saved ?

If you use versioning, with auto-(version)-approval disabled (Global FC configuration), have you manually approved the version?

I think you didn't saw the entire image.
IT is actually bellow the categories where you select the:
AUTHOR
AUTHOR ALIAS
CREATED DATE
PUBLISH DATE
FINISH DATE

mmm Yes i see now, usually i scroll picture but i think i need some sleep, me and madmax have been fixing ACL for v2.0 for J1.6/1.7

I will be away till Sunday it should be something small to fix. I will fix on Sunday or Monday and POST back.
