Category_Alpha.php incompatible with all SEF components

I have confirmed this with sh404sef, joomsef, and acesef the way that catagery_alpha.php is wrote makes it not work correctly with anything I've tried except for joomlas core sef system. You can't even use the option in any of these sef extensions to use joomla core sef handler because it still will not work. You have to uninstall the sef component then it will work.

The problem is with the link it generates, it generates a link to your site like www.flexicontent.org/# which doesn't work, the problem is in this code:

I took someones suggestion and changed the &letter to ?letter which changes the link from www.flexicontent.com/# to www.flexicontent.com/caterogy_name&letter=a for example but it still does the same exact thing, any time you use the alpha and click on a letter or number it boots you out to the main page..

I'm limited in my php knowledge but at least I got it to make the link look right but it's still kicking me out to my home page, I hope someone can figure it out...
