Override FC templates in Joomla theme folder was created by alekwisnia

Hello,

I used to create my templates for most of the components and modules in Joomla theme folder (/templates/templ_name/html/com_comp-name or /templates/templ_name/html/mod_comp-name).
However, this doesn't work with FC (neither for component nor for modules). I have to edit directly: /components/com_flexicontent/templates/... or /modules/mod_flexicontent/tmpl/...

Is there a chance to change that behaviour?

Hello

currently you edit files inside folder:

components/com_flexicontent/templates/

Item view:

components/com_flexicontent/templates/MYTEMPLATE/item(_html5).php
Category view:
components/com_flexicontent/templates/MYTEMPLATE/category_items(_html5).php

what is the benefit of placing them inside the Joomla template folder ?
(i mean benefit, other than being able to use a WEB-based editor, which we will add in v2.3.0, v2.4.0? )

flexi have is own template system most poweffull

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
