Display fields as a table

Hello,
I have 2 problems concerning tables.
1. How can I display artical fields (core/non-core) as a table ?
2. What is the best way of creating a table and bring values from different articals to it? it has two uses: comparison between 2 articals and save typing time when 2 articals are similar in few parts.

sorry did you read faq and english tutoriel ?
1 create a category and item on it
2 use default template for it
3 in template config : drag and drop what you want to display
4 create link to you category (flexicontent link)

i am not sure that i understand comment about effecting frontend user, the FLEXIcontent templates are for frontend usage only,

-- so:
the category layout
of 'default' template
(select this in your category edit form)

will display/list the items showing the fields as a table

-- to select field shown, go to backend template manager and edit the category layout of 'default' template

The problem was the template.
I'm am using Gantry template ( www.gantry-framework.org/ ).
when I changed the template to joomla basic template-protostar-the table appeared.
The gantry template probably overrides flexicontent (category) template.
Is there a way to fix this?
