Mini Gallery usage???

hi there!!

can anyone helpme with te usage os the mini gallery field???

i've allready figure this steps out:

1. create a new field for mini gallery;
2. add to my type of content
3. add some content,
4. add some images to the minigallery;
5. add mini gallery to the layou (tested on image container and on description container);
6. view the inserted content;

but no luck... mini gallery is not there!!! ((


one question ??? after uploading the images is there anything else to do so that the images can be added to that specific content item???

What version do you have?
This is always a configuration problem.

1. Template:
-- Check that your template item TYPE uses and then check if the item overrides the template and uses a different template that it's TYPE default.

2. Also open field and:
- if you have FLEXIaccess installed, check FLEXIaccess permissions
- if you don't have FLEXIaccess installed, check that access level of the field is public.

i manage to find out the problem...
i was testing flexicontent in a wampserver environment...

as soon as i swithed to my live server all is good...
tks again.

do ypu have any idea what is missing in wampserver???

If you have duplicate files and db 100%, then i guess it could be because of different PHP version.

PHP v5.2 will behave different on than PHP v5.3 , on some function calls but i cannot think of which function or portion of FLEXIcontent code could be related to it.

Is the copy on live server an 100% identical copy, with no configuration differences?

Also which FLEXIcontent version do you use?
If it is a new site, please don't use v1.5.4, instead upgrade to v1.5.6 before final publication of the site, v1.5.6 has various fixes for minigallery (and a lot of other fixes and enhancements):

i'm using 1.5.6 and i'm having a problem with the image field... after adding a photo backend fails to reload giving me the following error...

Fatal error: Class 'JFile' not found in /home/nunopomb/public_html/pt/plugins/flexicontent_fields/image.php on line 527
