Required Checkbox images dont validate

Its me again, yes :roll:

I have problem with Field "Checkbox Image" when this field is required.

When i try with only one picture everything is OK - items saves normally, but when i try to make 2, 3 or more checkbox images(in one field) and try to check not all the system don't validate my choice. This happen on Frontend & Backend. Its work/validate only when i check all images.

Where is the problem?

What version are you using?

I have opened this defect issue:

I use 1.5.4 Now will install 1.5.5 to check

Other problem is for Select - Where this field is required and have value 0:: - if this is selected, cant validate too. With other values is OK

One more question - i have problem and with Search. I search in forum for solution for this.

Content Search is disabled
Flexi Search is enabled.

On search i have only results when i type EXACT word (dont work with partly typed word), no matter what option i choose (Exact, Any, All).

After update to 1.5.5, only Search problem still exist. Am i miss something?

The v1.5.6RC1a, has many bugfixes and numerous new features and enhancements, including category performance fix.

Since you use checkbox image field and it seems to have a bug, please wait for fix in RC2

About search you mean the new search view in v1.5.6 or searching in the standard joomla com_search component?

Standart com_search doesn't work.

There is no problem with checkbox image after i update to 1.5.5.

I have little fear to update on live site with RC version for now
