Galleries are not working

Hi,

I just started using flexicontent and thank you for a wonderful extension!

I need to use an image gallery in flexicontent item. I have tried using versions 1.5.4 as well as 1.5.5 but minigallery / flashmatic galleries dont work on my local installation of Joomla 1.5. I have checked www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic and replaced the original file with the minigallery file that was provided but I am still getting the message "error messages disabled" for the uploaded images.
Also when I try to choose images by clicking, Minigallery doesnt add any while Flashmatic adds the same images with the error message in 1.5.4 version.
In version 1.5.5, for some reason the Add file button for Flashmatic doesnt appear at all.
What am I doing wrong? Please help me solve this.

If you applied fixes properly then maybe some problem with your configuration/environment or some unknown Flexicontent bug:

Please try changing file:
components\com_flexicontent\librairies\phpthumb\phpthumb.class.php
at about line 3699: to
And try to add some new images, hopefully now the error will be displayed.
And maybe we can know more about the problem

I downloaded the minigallery file you had given and replaced it. Do I need to change anything else in addition to that?

I tried the change in components\com_flexicontent\librairies\phpthumb\phpthumb.class.php but it didnt help. I still dont see thumbnail, instead I see the image with error. I have attached a screenshot for ref.

After changing phpthumb.class.php did you try to upload new pictures?

And try to add some new images, hopefully now the error will be displayed.
And maybe we can know more about the problem

Try uploading an image after changing phpthumb.class.php, inside the error image, the real error will be displayed (hopefully)
