I'm new to Flexicontent, so certainly that this is well explained somewhere!
What's the diference from Tab, Fieldset and Custom HMTL?
With joomla custom fields you can set a field group and in admin a tab with those fields appears. How to do the same in FlexiContent?
Thanks

Hello

There is a Fieldgroup field in flexicontent
- but it is not the same as Joomla fieldgroup

the FLEXIcontent fieldgroup would be like a sub-form or repeatable set of fields

The field:
Form Tab / Fieldset / Custom HTML

Just adds HTML to your form

- e.g. to create a fieldset

1. create 2 fields of it
2. in one of them inside its configuration select it to be "Fieldset Start"
3. in one of them inside its configuration it to be "Fieldset End"
4. In fields manager filter by a specific type e.g. by type "Article" or "Car"
5. Re-order the fields and click save button to save the order, the fields that are between "Fieldset Start" and "Fieldset End"

will appear as a fieldset in the item form

similarly you can create a Tab-set

Tab-set start

Tab start
... order fields here
Tab End

Tab start
... order fields here
Tab End

Tab-set end

Final note: Remember that
Form Tab / Fieldset / Custom HTML
adds HTML in the item form if you do not close open them correctly then display of the form will be broken until ... you fix it

Thanks, but I still don't understand!
How do I achieve the same result as a joomla field group?
I configured some fields the following way:
-General Data: TAB-SET START
-General Data: TAB-OPEN
-...... several fields
-General Data: TAB-CLOSE
-General Data: TAB-SET END

But still it appears the following error:
WARNING: TAB-set is misconfigured, TAB OPEN field encountered, before it a TAB-SET START field is needed

Thanks

Did you filter the listing of fields in fields manager

- every content item type has a different ordering of fields

the same field can have a different order of every item type it belongs to
NN item types = NN different forms

so you first need to filter by -specific- item type in the fields manager

Yes, that was it :-)

But I noticed that this new tab was placed inside the "Event details" tab! Is there any way to place it at the same level?
