Catchable Fatal Error

Just upgraded to the latest flexicontent and get this meeage ??

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in C:\web_server\xampp\htdocs\mellow9\components\com_flexicontent\views\category\view.html.php on line 173

Any ideas on how to fix this ???

I assume the "latest FLEXIcontent" means v1.5.3c.
My local testing server is currently the same XAMPP 1.7.3 set-up.
No problems here.

A couple other FLEXIcontent users have found this error message caused by interactions with other extensions.

One was a JavaScript conflict with GTranslate.

Cannot remember the other one - the extension name started with an "i"

Another user came back the next day and the error message was gone.
So in that case I assume it was a cache or session issue.
Once those expired it worked.
So clearing caches is a good idea to try.

I have uploaded the latest Flexicontent v1.5.3c to see if a prob was with this.

Secondly, I have removed some newer additions to joomla.

Still geting the error, but a new error has crept in.

At the dashboard I am getting the following error:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in C:\web_server\xampp\htdocs\mellow9\libraries\joomla\cache\handler\callback.php on line 99

Any ideas ???

Could you please add this to the Bug Tracker?
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/issues/list

This has come up 4-5 times now and I am not sure why.
I know it is related to changes in PHP 5.3.0+.

We need to get some input from the developers on this issue and the Bug Tracker is the best place to get their attention.
