Imported date not working for fields

Hi,

I have a field where I import a date.

After the import I can see clearly the date on my items but I am not able to use the date in a filter. No date are visible in the range.

If I save the items again then the dates are taken in the filter.

Why? and how can I avoid that?

What I don't understand is that in the item I can see the imported date but it won't be used for filtering unless I save the item again.

I also created a second date field with an automatic creation from the first one and the creation is working well but still no filtering.

Recreating the search index doesn't help.

i think i have found , but i need to spend some more time

it will not work depending on date format

filering, will only work if format with format
YYYY-mm-dd

As it will never be displayed (Only used for filtering) I don’t care the format.

When do you think you will have the solution? I need that urgently as they have to vote during their next “virtual” congress.
