Adding tags generates Timeout

Hello forum,

Since about 3 months I've been experimenting a strange behaviour each time I want to create a new article: I'm adding a few new tags, some are OK, and then when I'm keying a new one and pressing Enter nothing happens. And when I save my article it loops over and over and ends up in timeout.

Then not only my website japprecie.raidghost.com is frozen for an hour or two, but everything at my host (whatever).raidghost.com - as long as I'm using my IP.

Is this a bug with tags? Should I avoid using them?
Or else, what should I do to avoid this issue?

Flexicontent tags should be very fast

do you have 100,00 tags ?
100,000 items ?

There are some changes for syncing with Joomla tags which had some performance issues but that is for 3.3.x not in 3.2.x

nly if index is missing in alias column of
flexicontent_tags table, it could justify a few seconds delay during adding new tags

Thanks for your answer.

I know this makes no sense, but I relate things like I live them. And it isn't easy to tell by the way. (Next time it happens I'll make a screenshot.)
At first I thought the timeout was due to my web-host only. Actually it probably is due to my web-host indeed, but then I also noticed that it happens exactly at the moment I'm adding several tags (some of them being new tags) to a new item. That's why I am talking of this here.

I have only 190 tags and 66 items.

I've upgraded to v3.2.1.14. Let's see if it solves the issue.

it could be that it does not timeout

instead you get an error or response with some warning that breaks the response formt

so it looks like a timeout but it is not !
so if you open the browser console and go to network tab
and then try to add the tag that causes the issue then you will probably see the error / bad response occurring immediately

Here I am again with this problem.
I added a new item. I added a couple of tags to it (both new and existing tags), and got this error:

Then I tried to just save my item, and got this infinite loop:

And then I can do absolutely nothing to my website, even to my web-host

What's your opinion? What could I do?
