Hello,

I am building a platform on Google Cloud using custom Compute Engine running ubuntu 16.10.4 , nginx 1.10.3, php 7.0.15 and pagespeed 1.11.33.4 to host a joomla site 3.6.5 and install flexicontent 3.1.1

Whilst all additional modules, components & plugins load and work correctly, flexicontent does not.

It loads correctly and I have enabled all flexi componant, fields and plugins, but when trying to access the dashboard or other component options, it displays error 500 (see attached image.

When trying to access options for flexicontent the display text and out of joomla display see attached screen shot)

Is there something obvious that I am failing to do or is there a bug of some sort with configuring.

Thanks in advance with the assistance offered.

you need to check your apache error to find problem

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

at the page of the 2nd image that you posted
try to do a "view HTML source" and look for an error near the bottom

otherwise try at apache log
also try enabling Joomla DEBUG parameter and the error may appear without viewing the apache log

Hi,

Not running Apache. Using nginx and nothing appears on the nginx log.

Do you have any other recommendations I could explore?

Hi,

Enabled the debug, but no error appears, just the same as 2nd pic.

in console the error reads "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) for index.php.

This does not happen in other modules such as rsseo, etc. Nothing in the log.

Any other ideas?

Hello

maybe it is because of mod_security custom rule false positive

in any case we need an error message
