hello,
I'm the echo of Sarki (JCE Fr) to send you some info.
Everything is on the thread here: www.sarki.ch/jce/forum/problemes-divers/...-en-frontend?start=6

In summary, Sarki was found that part of the code generated by phpThumb in view "Blog" disappeared in sight between the backend editing and publishing frontend: div class = "image left" below:
Code:
<div class = "image left"> <a class="hasTip" title="" href="/joomla336/index.php/categorie-2/item/15-test-sarki"> <img alt = "Test Sarki" src="/joomla336/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=/images/sampledata/fruitshop/bananas_2.jpg&w=200&h=200&aoe=1&q=95"> </ div>

For Sarki, there is a solution by adding a / to images / ... each time you insert an image.
To me it seems that disabling the SEF can make me a temporary solution.
I'll try (or ask for Sarki) to contact the developer of JCE. If you know him, do not hesitate to make him up this concern.
Why am I the only one that kind of thing happen?
Have a nice day

Bonjour,

<div class="image left">
<a class="hasTip" title="" href="/joomla336/index.php/categorie-2/item/15-test-sarki">
<img alt="Test Sarki" src="/joomla336/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=/images/sampledata/fruitshop/bananas_2.jpg&w=200&h=200&aoe=1&q=95">

</div>

Bonne continuation

Hello

i will look at this

just do 1 more thing:

can you test with the default blog template and not with custom blog-1 template ?

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,
With all the help you have given me, I am ready to test all possibilities.
But here ... I have only one template blog, one that exists by default.
Do you want me to create another to see?

Hello

i found what is happening

-- images are inserted by JCE in frontend with relative path, and then saved in Database properly (as relative paths)

but
when you load the item again in frontend the JOOMLA SEF plugin is adding (for display reasons ?) absolute prefix in front of the images

-- JCE is not handling this properly
-- tinyeMCE detects this and reconverts URL to relative

i tested:
SAME text is given to both editor, that is the absolute path created by JOOMLA SEF plugin src="..." replacement
and
tinyMCE converts it to relative

so i think that this is a JCE bug,

we could implement a workaround, but this bug should be reported to JCE authors

Hello

updated textarea field to encode the textarea value, this should prevent SEF plugin from taking effect,

also i believe no bug is inserted by this, e.g. adding < > inside description should continue to be possible, Joomla 'editor' FORM element does this so we are doing same

raw.githubusercontent.com/FLEXI ... xtarea.php

-- replace the flexicontent "textarea.php" field
plugins/flexicontent_fields/textarea/textarea.php
