Print button popup

Hi, when using the page print button, the page material to be printed is included in the popup but then no button or link in the popup to then actual print.

This appears on a Joomla 3.6/FC 2.2 2009 site but also appears on the flexicontent.org site too i.e. on the FAQ when clicking on the print button, the same thing occurs. Occurring in both Firefox and Chrome.

you mean a button to call browser "print" ?

now user has to press "CTRL-P" or use browser right menu



so we miss button to call browser "print" function ?

Yes, I think having a button in the popup would a)cover all bases on level of user understanding on how to use their computer or browser type and b) be consistent with how the other buttons respond i.e. "recommend" and "feeds" all call for action within the popup.

A small point I know but just polishing the chrome of a rolls royce of a product in FC 2.2.

Works fantastic in category view. Tku.

Both category and item using default template.

I cant get it to work in item view. The popup appears but no print button or auto print.

In category view page source I can see:
<!-- BOF buttons -->
<script type="text/javascript">window.addEvent('domready', function() { window.print(); });</script>
<!-- EOF buttons -->

This is omitted in the item view page source.

hhmm we did not update item view common files:

/tmpl_common/item_layouts/modular.php
/tmpl_common/item_layouts/modular_html5.php

will do in next commits



only category, search, tags, favourites views were updated not item view
