[Due to template] Empty breadcrumb in multiple category view

Hello,

I am facing a issue in my current project. I am in need of building a event list a bit like so :

Category Events
>>(Sub.) Exhibitions
>>(Sub.) Music
>> ...

There will be no items in Events, every data goes within a subcategory.
I also need the end user to filter the whole items, i. e. not having to choose a subcategory before filtering.

So I have a set in the menu to show the category "Events" but it returns no item (?) but the breadcrumb is fine.

Later I tried using a multiple category view with all subcaegories. It works, including filtering but the breadcrumb is litterally empty and I can't set template parameters.

Can someone give me a hand here ? ;)

Thanks in advance.

Hello

to get category tree in Joomla breadcrumbs module,
- enable the parameter "automatic pathways" in our component settings and make sure that breadcumbs is displayed, also there is a small possibility that some 3rd party extensions is empty the pathway object that the Joomla breadcumbs module use for displaying the breadcrumbs module, also make sure that the module is displayed e.g. assign it to ALL in Joomla module manager

Regards

Hello,

I still have no luck. I set the parameters as this :
[img

My breadcrumb still shows only "Home"...

I expected it to output my "top category" like "Home > Agenda > Events"

I am using only Flexicontent, Falang and Jcomments.

Moreover, I have another question, why when I make a menu showing the Events category, nothing shows up ? The breadcrumb is correct this time but no items are shown... Am I missing a switch somewhere ?

Hello

what is shown in lists depends on current filtering and on filtering configuration of component/category and on Falang and of course on language of the items,

for start try to temporarily disable Falang to see it Falang usage

Thanks for the answer. I am checked but I have no special filters that are set on the category.
The problem is that the sub-sub-items are not being shown.

For instance, I have "events" in Events>Music.
I made my template that show the items but only the items in Events are being rendered while events in Events>Music are being ignored...

I would like to show filters for ALL items within events, I am currently not being able to.

What do you suggest ? I am stuck here...

Hello

you may send me a PM with super admin login,

and provide a --specific-- example of category that is not listing all its items

remember:
- i do not know your web-site
- and i only speak english and greek

provide category id, frontend category URL,
give example of specific items missing,
e.g. these items appear in backend when you filter by category in backend items manager but not in frontend,
etc

Regards
