Hello to all,
I am passed to the FC version _v2.1.3_r1857_J25_J32 (as you have recommended) on Joomla! 3.2.2 and I am checking the operation and I have found that for the CAPTCHA,

- setting in the "Global Configuration" (FLEXIcontent component settings) Tab "Item form" area "Form Field Security":

User Type: Any User
Operation Type: Submit (Recommanded)

I get a strange behavior in Front End Item Form:

In Submit new item: Ok it works perfect
In Update existing item: Ko Whe I save I receive an error Captcha resolving (which should not be active in this case)

How can I do?

Thanks in advance.

Dario

Hello

FLEXIcontent has a parameter for loading the CAPTHCA field during
- submit or
- submit / edit

1. have you set the CAPTCH to load only during submit ?
(open FLEXIcontent component configuration) and find the above parameter in the item FORM tab

2. NOTE: the above parameter can be changed per CONTENT type so go to your type and find the parameter slider "Item Form" and check the same parameter

Regards

Hello George, thanks for your help:

2. NOTE: the above parameter can be changed for the CONTENT type I go to your type and find the parameter sliders "Item Form" and check the same parameter

I did as you suggested, I set in the item form of Global Parameter Configuration and Item Type to:

User Type: Any User
Operation Type: Submit (Recommanded)

but the result is not changed, and when, in update, I press the save button of the item modifyed (not new item) the system says:

"Security code does not valid ..."

It seems that executes the control Captcha although I do not have required (Edit Case).

Do you have any idea?

Thank you.

Best regards

Dario

Hello

ok, you checked configuration

it must be some easy to fix bug, the captcha is checked, despite not being added to the form

we ll test locally to reproduce and fix, if we cannot find we will test on your web-site

fixing bugs is always a priority
