[J2.5] 406 Not Acceptable

Hi, after solving the other error now i had this 406 Not Acceptable when i am going to save a item.

I tried to add these lines in .htaccess (i try both cannot)

<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>

or

SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off

Maybe you are not allowed to turn it off

Please ask your administrator to examine logs, and find which mod_security Rule is giving this false positive, and remove/change the Rule.

Also if possible tell us which rule is being triggered

Hi my hosting administrator off it for me and the error is gone. But i knw is not a wise idea to turn it off..

He also say from the alert, he did not see any rule being triggered.

- If you get this error then some rule was triggered,
- The rule can be anything e.g. you can have a rule if trigger if text "xyz" text is found, so it could be that the rule gives a wrong positive , in general you should disable/change/fix the specific rule

LOL understand.. but i guess hosting guy will choose the faster way to fix the error haha.

will there any log which i can direct point to him to check the error?

Error is generated by apache , so it is strange that he sees no entry in the log
