I'm on FC version 1.5.6 RC9 (r1522) and we have some big problems with preview. Our authors are all managers and work in the backend. Their rights are limited by flexiaccess 1.0.5 but before the upgrade from v. 1.5.6 RC2a (r1057) the previews were working as desired. Now when an author creates an article and wants to preview it he/she gets a frontend vie only with the title. Neither the articles' text nor the contents of the image fields are displayed in preview.
Also before the upgrade an admin could see all unpublished articles in the frontend when he was logged in. Now all articles that are scheduled to some future time are not shown any more. Is there a fast or simle fix for this?
Regards

1. So scheduled items are not shown to their owners OR to people that can edit them?

2. About preview, i must check maybe for some reason the wrong (item layout) template is applied and thus only the title is shown

About 2, Giving login to your site , and describing how to replicate problem, will help, you can send me a PM

Regards

I think I found out, what happens. The preview always shows your very first version of the article. As soon as I save an article a second time, the changes are not shown in the frontend. in the backend the changes are shown correctly.

Switching off versioning would help BUT then autoapprove would be active and authors could edit their already published articles and the changes would be published without an admin having to approve it first, which is not an option.

About the scheduled articles. For us it is enough that only admins can see them but at the end it would be a nice to have if the author (owner) could see it too.
Best Regards

My problem here seems to be that my authors are not allowed to save articles with state "draft unpublished" without the rewiew of an admin. Is there a setting anywhere, where I can allow them to do so in order to fix my preview problem?

i mean the preview icon in the backend items manager tab, right?
