Related item field category scope broken

Hi since last update to RC8 r1496 my related item fields doesn't display any items in the selected category.

If I want to have some choices possible, I have to remove the category scope I had. Then all the items are visible and selectable.

Not sure, but i think there are no relevant changes to it,

is the category not displayed ?
or the items of the category not displayed?

The category is displayed but no items.

If I set the scope to all. I can see the items

maybe this is a bug, maybe a configuration issue, i cannot reproduce, only if you send a PM with admin login i can check if this is a bug or not

also tell an item ID to edit and which related field (its ID) you are using

I think problem is:

that the related items field is displaying items only that have their main category in the selected categories of the category scope

so your items with different main categories than the ones selected by category SCOPE will not display,

i have patched your site and i have enabled the category SCOPE, please test

will commit this fix ...

this issue/bug is not new / it was always there

Ok I understand. The fact is the day we upgraded we also decided to change the main category of films to catalog on to of films. that's the reason why I was thinking that the problem came from the upgrade.
