Language Switcher doesn't work on homepage

Hi,

When I click on the language switcher (top right hand corner):

bongos.wedesigntaipei.com/

It doesn't switch to Chinese. However it works on all the other pages.

They are associated in the language switcher.

Any ideas?

To see if it is related to the Advanced Route Plugin:


Go to Advanced Route Route System-Plugin, and temporarily disable switching of language associated items and categories.
Then revisit home page and test, does it work?

Yes that works. If I disable the plugin - The homepage switches.

Your frontpage is an FLEXIcontent item or category view?

Try enabling language switching debugging in FLEXIcontent advanced Route plugin , what does it print for frontpage

I have disabled category switching in Advanced Route Route System-Plugin, and it is ok now

If you do not place different language items inside the same category, then you do not need it, furthermore this is not so important if this function is disabled you will have standard joomla behavior and go back to home page when user changes the language
