strange urls with sh404sef and

Just installed the latest version of Flexi(1.5.3a) as I use sh404(version 1.5.12.464) and need that facility with the SEF urls.

Flexi is giving urls using the category structure, however the items are being given the category name for the final stage of the url rather that the item name.

The urls in question are in the format

www.mysite.com/category/sub-cate ... egory.html

what I was expecting was

www.mysite.com/category/sub-cate ... -name.html

SH404sef is configured:

use title alias - yes
Use category alias - no
Use section alias - no
Use menu alias - no
Show Section - no
Show Category - yes
Insert content table name - yes
Insert blog view name - no
Activate multipage article smart titles - yes
Insert article id in URL - no

this is a test site so I dont wish to post the url but can pm the url to someone who needs to see what I mean.
Site is 600 plus articles with original com_content articles currently in the menu, slowly working through by category.

Setting sh404sef to use the component or core plugin plugin gives the sef url, however the url contains the term item and the article id whatever the sh404 settings.

Would really like to remove the text 'item' and the item id from the url.

How do I achieve this please ?

A plug-in for sh404SEF was added to the FLEXIcontent core in v1.5.3b.

Please test with FLEXIcontent v1.5.3b or v1.5.3c.

Sorry Ken, I read Emmanuel's post on Twitter which seemed to imply that v1.5.3a contained the sh404sef support. Must have misunderstood him.

I've installed the version 1.5.3c, cleared the sh404 url cache and now don't have the duplicate url's, however is there anywhere to configure the url to remove the item and the item id number from the url ?

The urls are now in the format

www.mysite.com/item/1636-item-title.html

I would prefer

www.mysite.com/item-title.html

using the plugin options in sh404 appear to not have any impact, is this because the component has the sef extension as opposed to a com_flexicontent.php file to go into the sh404 sef folder ?
