Hello and thanks for all the help you offer us.

The task:

I want the user to create an article with a pdf embeded to it from the frontend.

The approach I followed is:

1. to add a file field where the user can upload the pdf
2. Create an item template with that field inside it.
3. Assign that template to new articles.

I did the first two but I cannot do the 3.

Could you please tell me how to make new articles created by the user in frontend to have an item template that I've created?

Or is it a better approach to create an article with a pdf embeded to it from the frontend.

Thanks very much

hello
you need to set your template in your type
after create a submission link menu and set option

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Is there a way to show the pdf itself rather than having the view button?
