Hi,

I have a menu link "favorites" in category view. The link is : index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=favourites

All is working well, i just dont find a parameter (if this parameter exists) : in the generate table, i want to remove the "description" column.
I search in the menu parameters, i can add fields and remove image field but i did not find how to remove the description field...

How to achieve this ?
Thanks !
Xavier

Hello

Such a parameter should have been implemented
- but indeed no such parameter exists,
thus you cannot disable description via parameter

- either (if you are making a new website) in component configuration enable using the category view for displaying favourites
- or you can create a template override of the layout file

In backend templates management edit your Joomla template
e.g.
Templates/Templates/Protostar

Click to create override for

- com_flexicontent/favourites

then edit the created file
html/com_flexicontent/favourites/default.php

Done, i have no more the description column in favorites :)

By the way, i have something more to ask for this :)
In the favourite, i will find 2 types of content : autor and movies
As the table show link to autor or to movies, all favorites are in the same table.
Now, if i had 2 extra field in the table, i will have 2 new column : for the autor, the style of actor, for the movie, the style of movie (all this are examples).
Ok, in my table, i have :

Name of the content - Date of creation - style of actor - style of movie

The table get the information correctly : i have the columns filed correctly... except for the last title in the table : my last column have no title...

I have checked the field name, change for test but nothing... I have no title for the last field....
Note : this was already here before the overide...
