Images of items in Category list not displaying

I've recently installed FlexiContent. But I have an issue that I didn't succeed to resolve (I've read all Tutorials and FAQ), and found nothing about it on the Forum.

Actually, it's very simple: in the Category view, which list all the items/articles inside this category, I would like to display the images of each item in purpose to appear with the title inside this list. So simple function and impossible to get it...

I add image to item with a field that I have created, which field I've added to my custom template (I've tried with the default Joomla built-in "Joomla Fields" intro-image inside the item creation panel, but without success too...).

I thought maybe it was a problem with my custom template, so, I've tried all different templates available in FC (by assigning them to my category), but still impossible to display any image with items/articles inside the list...

Hope to find some solution here...

I am not sure if i have understood you correctly

do you want to show item's title inside the picture ?
and e.g. on hover to show the item's description too

You could try to use news layout of the universal content module

In the template column of categories manager
- click "Edit layout and parameters" (e.g. in your case it should be 'blog' template)
(note the above will effect all categories that use the same 'template')

Then "category layout" of the "blog" will open
Go to TAB display parameters , scroll down and select which image field to use

No, actually no one image appear... it is indeed my problem...

I have already did what you suggest, but without any result.

And I'm not using the "Blog" template. I'm using the "Presentation" template, because I need a listing like in this template. But I have tried with the Blog template as well, and it doesn't work too: no one image appear with the items on the category list...

It's why I think it's not a problem in relation with the templates...

in presentation template , you do not use parameters to select image

in presentation template ,
drag and drop an image field in a position

of course image field must be non-empty for the particular item e.g. item no 54 with title 'title 1'

so you can go and edit item no 54 (title 1) and check that the image field has some value
